The Giants have signed 31-year old righty reliever Ramon Ramirez to a minor league deal. He has now pitched in 417 games (0 starts) in his first seven years in the majors and he is 23-21 with 9 saves, a 3.32 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP. Ramirez has pitched two seasons in San Francisco in his career, working in 91 games (0 starts) in which he was 4-3 with 5 saves, a 2.07 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP.
